Work in progress

This section allows a constant communication and sharing of information among the project partners as far as the activities for the different intellectual outputs are concerned. Each project partner upload this section of a three months basis.

Project management for Università Telematica degli Studi IUL commenced and is divided into 4 main activities:
- Coordination of the activities
- Dissemination
- Exploitation
- Evaluation

Coordination of the activities
It includes:
• Planning of all the IUL activities of the project for the 2 years project life
• Participation in transnational meetings of the project partners
• Update of the project website
• In progress reporting activities and completion of yearly reports at progress and final stage
• Participation in circulation of information through e-mails, skype meetings and Cisco WebEx meetings.

Dissemination
It includes:
- Making the CLIL4STEAM Portal accessible to the largest possible number of school teachers in secondary schools, school counsellors, students, in particular those interested in the application of CLIL methodology to STEM subjects.
- Sharing the CLIL4STEAM Portal and the results of the CLIL4STEAM project with the highest number of operators in the field of education
- Sharing the CLIL4STEAM Portal and the results of the CLIL4STEAM project with the highest number of citizens
- Spreading the CLIL4STEAM activities and results on the most popular Social Network (Facebook and Twitter)

Exploitation activities will:
• Promote the Portal through the exchange links with Portals addressing similar issues (e.g. Portals providing educational materials for teachers; portals on education etc.)
• Promote the project among public authorities and key policymakers in order to gain institutional consensus and promoting the insertion of project results in policies for Education.
• Involve new members as associated partners.

IUL was represented at the kick-off meeting and the materials presented and discussed were brought back to the University to start the work for the project.
A team of researchers was agreed.
The researchers were briefed on the work to be done.
The project brochure was prepared for distribution.
Team meetings were called to plan the first activities assigned to IUL, in particular:
- review and feedback on the videos produced by LIT
- production of 25 teaching resources.

Financial forms and timesheets were agreed with IUL management. Researchers were met to explain how the system works.
Communication with other partners was on-going.
Researchers were supported in compilation of material.
There was participation in the virtual transnational meeting and the discussions about the work in progress and future activities.
Researchers were briefed on the creation of teaching resources which were uploaded to the project portal.
Another transnational meeting was attended.
The Guidelines on CLIL for teachers were produced and feedback from partners was collected.
Dissemination activities continued and another associate partner was gained.
Work in progress updates were completed.

Continued communication with researchers and project partners. Submission of financial claims. Participation in on-line conversations.
Dissemination activities continuing and associated partners being sought.
IUL continued to develop and test resources managed as required by the project outlines.

Results Achieved:

The team of researchers has been confirmed and management of the production of the Intellectual Outputs has commenced.
The team is in constant communication through Skype and Cisco WebEx.
The videos produced by LIT were commented and reviewed.
Teaching resources were also prepared.
IUL Portal dedicated to the project was created and updated.
New associated partners signed up the letters.
A wide range of disseminating events were held where the project was described and recommended to teachers at national and international level.
The work is on schedule and the participation in the project transnational meeting gained evidence that the standard is satisfactory.
Teaching resources being compiled and all other project management activities continuing as required.

Guidelines on CLIL methodology being developed and managed as required. Interaction and exchanges with LIT about the chapter on assessment they developed.
Preparation of the programme of the Training Week for the partners scheduled in Florence in October 2021.
Contacts with the schools in Florence to be visited and observed by the partners during the Training Week in October 2021.
Preparation for project partner virtual meeting taking place.
