General aims:

- to know the language associated with optical illusions

- to enable students to understand topic correctly
- to develop academic language
- to translate words connected with probability in English into the mother tongue using their own words.

Subject specific aims:
- to familiarise students with the properties of optical illusions in art
- to enable students to creat artful illusions

Target group age:
The lesson is aimed at grades 8-9. The resource is recommended to teachers who want to teach art using English.

Time required to use the resource with the students:
1-2 lessons.

How to use it
The teacher should ask the students to read the resource at home before the lesson and then discuss it in class. One of the ideas to use is to create their own work of art.
