Video Lesson: Force of Gravity

Video Lesson

Subject
Physics

Description of the video lesson
In this video we look at the Force of Gravity.
We consider different types of force and then look at what gravitational force actually means.
We look at the difference between mass and weight.

Level of English
Students should have basic English vocabulary and grammar skills.

Pre-requisites
For language students should be able to listen to the speaker and understand what he is explaining with the help of prompt words and diagrams.
For content the students should already have looked at the idea of force and how different forces behave.

Language aims
Language Skills: Listening, watching, speaking
Grammar: Present simple tense
Nouns: force, attraction, gravity, mass, weight
Verbs: attract, pull, push, move

Students should also learn about symbols and units in physics.

Subject aims
Students learn about gravity as a force that attracts objects to each other.

Students' Difficulties
