BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

Sandro Pertini high school has four fields of study: languages, music, human science and
economic and social human science (LES). It has 1300 students and three school locations.
The programs the school offers are varied and are constantly reevaluated so as to better
meet the needs of today’s young men and women. The institution concentrates on
preparation for college and most graduates attend university. In addition to its fine
academic offerings and quality instruction it offers many international projects and
activities: student exchange programs, PON, ERASMUS PLUS (with Montale High school)
and work experience for school students abroad (England, France, Poland,
Holland,Germany, Greece and Spain). Pertini cooperates with Grazia Deledda international
high school in organising GeMUN and it has been partecipating in different MUNs (Model
United Nation) in Italy, in Europe and in United States. The school promotes international
education offering a Franco-Italian high-school double degree program called esabac that
develops international mindedness and encourages personal learning. It also encourages
students to study different languages proposing Cambridge, Delf, Dele and Goethe-
Zertifikat courses as after-school activities.

HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS

The organisation will contribute to the dissemination of the project results by publishing
them on the school website. A systematic program of monitoring is activated through
provided questionnaires and survey cards presented to the participants.
