BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

Kaunas Juozas Grusas Art Gymnasium. ~1200 students, aged 7-19, study at the gymnasium. The gymnasium implements the programmes of primary, basic and secondary education as well as the programme of non-formal education of Art and Technologies.

The objective of the school strategic plan and the annual work programme for the gymnasium is to become a member of STE(A)M school net, participate actively in STE(A)M initiatives, strengthen partnership and international cooperation, and develop creativity. This project would help to implement the strategic objective of the school.

The gymnasium carries out scientific research activities, cooperates with Kaunas University of Technology and Vytautas Magnus University by participating in programmes promoting educational research activity. The teachers of the gymnasium organize the Day of the Number π, the Earth Day, the Water Day; the students prepare for and participate in the contests and Olympiads of various subjects.

HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS

To disseminate the project and its outcomes for other schools, target auditorium, participate in the exchange of experience during and after the project's implementation; • To share information about the project amongst its members of the school and online in school’s website; • To participate with its staff in events of interest organized by the project partnership - seminars, trainings, pilot tests and to give feedback.
