Please describe the teaching resource taking into consideration the: General aims: the student to understand the definition, the mechanism of photosynthesis, the importance of the factors involved in the process but especially the fact that photosynthesis is a vital process on our planet. Linguistic aims: -to read English with ease -to understanding content -to communicate reading experiences -to learn from written texts Subject specific aims : -Student can explain visually and theoretically how PHOTOSYNTHESIS works -student knows how to proof photosynthesis, to prove by an experiment the release of oxygen -the student to understand the influence of internal and external factors on photosynthesis Target group age: Students from primary school 10-13 years old Level of competence in English (CEFR): B1/B1+ Time required to use the resource with the students: Time required to use the resource with the students: The material can be divided into two parts. This way the teacher can use the resource with the students for two lessons. How to use it: The teacher can ask the students what they already knows about this process. Then the teacher will explain theoretically and they will know a brief history about Photosynthesis. Students should try to understand in English the concept of the Photosynthesis and the content of the website. Possible difficulties for the students: Students who have poor knowledge of English can have problems with understanding the content. Students also may have difficulty understanding and interpreting the formula of photosynthesis.
