Description
This activity should reinforce the concept of the Greenhouse Effect. It provides a way to simply demonstrate the effect using readily available materials.
The aim is to give the student practice in reading relatively simple English but then to encourage them to write a report on the results of the investigation.
The target age group is 12 - 14 years.
The activity would require two class periods or could be completed as a homework project-based task.
The students will have to read and interpret instructions and then relate their findings using both basic and technical vocabulary.
