Description
In this activity students are given a set of instructions to carry out an experiment to demonstrate refraction, and the effects of the speed at which light travels through media of different densities.
They should have good basic English vocabulary and reading skills. They should comprehend simple instructions and if they are able to follow them they will have a simple demonstration of refraction.
This task can be carried out in ten to fifteen minutes but the requirement to explain what is happening using appropriate general and technical vocabulary will extend the lesson length.
